I rarely post about my writing wins but hereโs one of them. A short script that I hope one day will turn into a feature. ๐ป๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐ is about a resilient young dancer in Las Vegas who strives to save her sick father while forging unexpected friendships with casino regulars, ultimately propelling her toward a life-changing decision.

I won my first acting award in a LEAD role in a thriller short, Whispers.
Itโs great to receive this recognition because I put a lot of work and energy into this role, and on very short notice.

This was my first Oscar-qualified festival! It was great to share my film with a very supportive crowd and connect with friends and filmmakers. It still blows my mind that all of this happened because of an idea. The only difference is that I took action!

As a director unit member at the Actors Studio, I had a pleasure in directing a 30 min scene from a play โAppropriateโ by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (which btw premiered on Broadway last year.) It was a challenge to direct 7 (!) actors and not to lose humor in a very heavy play. But I welcomed that challenge as Iโve learnt so much from the process and collaboration with such talented actors.
